It’s been a long time since I journaled.

It’s easier to read tweets and [to] Facebook… and [do] Instagram. However, pausing enough to take a breath of fresh air, to step away from non-solutions [broadcast] on TV and the social feed on whatever, I discover [again] that it feels good and…

Perhaps, yes, I should begin journaling now in these first days of 2016…

…instead of stewing in the critique of a president and of a country.

Set aside prayer?

Nope. I’m reprieved by a nudge via orange light through the windows and I walk outside and His magnificence serves to cleanse the palate.

I look at the sky and know His word lives forever.

I pray and perhaps… I’ll journal.

Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; Put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes. Cease to do evil, Learn to do good; Seek justice, Rebuke the oppressor; Defend the fatherless, Plead for the widow. – Isaiah 1:16-17 NKJV
